Making Old Bonhomme Presbyterian Church New Again

Our relationship with Old Bonhomme Presbyterian Church originated when A.J. Brown successfully completed the largest construction project in the church’s two hundred year history. Now, as a repeat client, they asked A.J. Brown to renovate the original Bonhomme Chapel.

The renovation of Bonhomme Chapel was a design/build project of the original stone church building. A.J. Brown managed the job from start to finish – from hiring an architect to develop the design to managing the entire construction process. The congregation sees the chapel as a cornerstone of the church, so modernizing the facility while maintaining its original character was a priority. The completed project provides new offices and restrooms while preserving the history of the church.

Central Bank of St. Louis Gets Long-Awaited Update

Central Bank of St. Louis is a regional bank with 14 locations serving the metropolitan St. Louis area. Our first project with the Bank is a 28,630 square foot renovation of their headquarters in Clayton, Missouri. A.J. Brown is the general contractor for this project, managing 32 subcontractors and suppliers.

Central Bank discussed and planned this complete renovation for many years, and awarded the project to A.J. Brown after finalizing details with the building owner. The project’s scope includes developing all new retail, teller, and office spaces in addition to new conference rooms. New square footage will be gained through the addition of mezzanines that also provide modern architectural interest.

The work is currently fifty percent finished with an expected completion date in January of 2016.
