There’s A New President & CEO of A.J. Brown!
We are thrilled to announce that Doug Rendleman has been named sole President & CEO of A.J. Brown, Inc. Doug steps into this role following the retirement of Dan Steuber, who served as his co-President for many years.
A veteran of the construction services industry with over 30 years of experience, Doug has been with A.J. Brown since 2000. He became a Partner in 2006 and has been instrumental in our growth and success. Over his 24-year tenure, Doug has taken on a multitude of responsibilities including business development and retention, contract negotiation, pre-construction budget analysis, construction estimating, and operations management.
Since our beginnings in 1991, A.J. Brown has evolved from a general contracting company serving the St. Louis metro area into a specialized firm managing construction projects nationwide. Our expertise spans various sectors including office, retail, commercial, entertainment, and industrial projects. This impressive growth is a testament to Doug’s vision and commitment to excellence.
Reflecting on his career, Dan Steuber shared, “Witnessing the growth of A.J. Brown and the development of our employees has been incredibly rewarding. A proud native of St. Louis with a bachelor’s degree in Construction Science & Management from Kansas State University, Doug has actively contributed to the industry through various professional affiliations and roles throughout the St. Louis region.
